General English (LIC)
CRICOS Course Code: 031670E. Course Aim: This course aims to improve the foreign students' general English level. The general English classes also form a basis for students to move on to more specialized areas such as IELTS test preparation course. Course Assessment: Monthly tests, assignments and participation in class Teaching Methods: Face-to-face. Students will develop their English language skills through a range of tasks designed to develop their skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening as well as improving their pronunciation and knowledge of grammar. Further study: Students who complete our general English courses at an intermediate level will be able to undertake educational or vocational courses. Students wishing to take IELTS preparation should have finished an intermediate level course.
Practical ESL course
3D 實用英語課程是3D的最主要課程，每天共有7堂主課和1堂選修課，包括4堂1：1課程＋3堂團體課，外加1堂免費課，包括英語討論等課程。每堂課50 分鐘，早上8點到晚上6點，可以自選中間的7個小時段上課。 中間的10分鐘是學生和老師用英語交流訓練的好時段，可以避免學生因為太長課時而出現注意力不 集中的問題，同時也讓學生有更多的交流機會。
General English (NZLC Auckland)
NZLC courses is Suitable for all levels (Beginner to Advanced). It helps you to Improve your English language knowledge and skills. It's communicative, practical and fun. There will be Regular progress tests and academic counseling which help students gain confidence in a supportive environment. We introduce students to local culture through activities and project work. The course is taught by qualified, supportive and friendly teachers. It also Leads to a variety of further NZLC course options.
ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES (Discover English)
CRICOS: 073678E With a special emphasis on writing, research and critical thinking the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is designed to develop, practice and refine the skills necessary for further study in certificate, diploma, degree or post-graduate level courses. Students will be guided through various academic processes such as research (identifying reliable sources and analysing material using critical thinking), drafting of different kinds of academic writing (from developing a thesis statement to scaffolding an essay) and editing (polishing written work to improve the overall standard of a paper). All of this will be done with constant feedback and suggestions so students will be prepared for entry into their chosen tertiary course. EAP also improves students’ formal English skills and can assist in preparing for the IELTS test. Discover English has many pathway partners for further study options that incorporate EAP.

General English Part Time Morning (WWSE)
Part Time Intensive General English class structure: 1. Monday to Friday Morning: 9.00 am - 9.55 am 10.05 am - 11.00 am 11.20 am - 12.15 pm Morning courses emphasise reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and a lot of communication practice. 2. Friday afternoon options 1.30pm - 3.30pm (approx.) Part-time Morning students can only choose the Activity or Movie option
General English Full Time (WWSE)
Full Time Intensive General English class structure: 1. Monday to Friday Morning: 9.00 am - 9.55 am 10.05 am - 11.00 am 11.20 am - 12.15 pm Morning courses emphasise reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and a lot of communication practice. 2. Friday afternoon options 1.30pm - 3.30pm (approx.) Full-time General English course students can choose from: Special Class, Movie or Activity option. (Student visa attendance is only given for the Special class option). * Full-time General English includes 5 hours a week of monitored self access. This can include the 2 hour Special Class option on a Friday afternoon.
General English Full Time Intensive (WWSE)
Full Time Intensive General English class structure: 1. Monday to Friday Morning: 9.00 am - 9.55 am 10.05 am - 11.00 am 11.20 am - 12.15 pm Morning courses emphasise reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and a lot of communication practice. 2. Monday to Thursday afternoon classes: 1.30 pm - 2.25 pm 2.35 pm - 3.30 pm The afternoon part of the Full-time Intensive English programme focuses on improving students listening skills and spoken fluency Friday afternoon options 1.30pm - 3.30pm (approx.) Full-time Intensive (including academic) English course students can choose from: Special Class, Exam practice test, Movie or Activity option
